Atlantic Southeast Airlines

ASA was an American regional airline that was established in 1979 in Atlanta. The airline started its first flights operation by providing scheduled passenger flights between Columbus, Ga., and Atlanta. Atlantic Southeast Airlines had its main base in College Park, Georgia. It operated scheduled passenger flights to more than 145 destinations. Most of the destinations were covered under the carrier of Delta Airlines and United Airlines. Atlantic Southeast Airlines used to operate more than 900 flights every day.

ASA was the member of SkyTeam and Star Alliance. The airline stopped operations in December 2011 and merged into ExpressJet.
