It was the regional airline of Lithuania with its main base in Vilnius, Lithuania. Amber Air was founded in 2004 and started scheduled passenger flights services between Palanga, Copenhagen, and Hamburg. The airline operated domestic flights to various destinations in Lithuania. Moreover Amber Air also provided private charter flight services.
From October 2006, Amber Air flights were not allowed to take off due to the indebtedness of the company. All the flights were ceased indefinitely in January 2007 with the suspension of aviation license.
