VLM is regional business airlines of Belgium with its main hub at Antwerp International Airport in Deurne. VLM airlines provided scheduled passenger flight services to different destinations of Belgium, Germany, United Kingdom.
VLM was founded in 1993, with its first scheduled route flight service between Antwerp and London City Airport. Air France-KLM declared takeover of VLM in 2008 to operate as CityJet airlines. In 2009, all the flight services were statred operating under CityJet due to Air France-KLM agreement. VLM Airlines had been replaced altogether by CityJet in 2010. But this merger never completed. Further in 2014, with the sale of CityJet to German investor Intro Aviation, VLM again became independent from CityJet.
