It was a small airline of New Zealand that was established in 1974 by Barrie McHaffie. Aspiring Air had its main base in Wanaka, New Zealand. The airline used to provide scheduled domestic flights between Wanaka and Queenstown. Aspiring Air was famous for its scenic flying through charter flights experience a clear, exciting and awe-inspiring view of Southern Alps in New Zealand.
With Aspiring Air, travelers were able to view most spectacular scenery and some remote wilderness areas of a World Heritage Park, the Fiordland National Park. This was one of the best options to have personalized scenic experience for tour groups.
