It was one of the famous regional airlines of Norway. Air Norway was founded in 2003 with intentions to connect various cities in the country through air transport. It had its main base in Ørland, in Sør-Trøndelag County, Norway. Besides providing round trip from Ørland to Oslo Airport, Gardermoen, the airline also used to operate scheduled passenger flights from Oslo to Aalborg Airport, Denmark.
