It was one of the leading domestic airlines in Japan. Air Next had its main base in Fukuoka Airport in Hakata-ku, Fukuoka, Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan. The airline operated low cost domestic passenger flights to various destinations. It was the subsidiary of All Nippon Airways (ANA).
Air Next was established in August 2004. It started operating air flight services in June 2005 after receiving air carrier permit from the aviation authorities. The airline stopped all its operations with effect from October 1, 2010 and merged with Air Central and Air Nippon Network to form ANA Wings.
