It was one of the most popular regional airlines of Canada. The airline was founded in 1948 as Newfoundland Airways with headquarter in Gander, Newfoundland. Air Labrador had its main base in Goose Bay (CFB Goose Bay), Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. Besides operating scheduled passenger services, the airline also used to provide charter flights and freight services in the remote areas of Labrador and Quebec. Air Labrador was famous for its air cargo services to several destinations.
Air Labrador stopped all its flight operations from June 2017 and merged with Provincial Airlines.
