This was airline of Spain with its main base in Madrid, Spain. Initially the airline was established as Air Plus Comet in December 1996. Air Comet operated regional flights as well as scheduled passenger international flights to more than 13 destinations in Central and South America from Madrid. It also used to cover a few destinations in Europe. Air Comet was tied up in code share agreement with AeroSur.
In December 2009, London High court sued Air Comet for the non-payment of their leased aircrafts and staff salaries. Following this, the airline had to cease all air flights operations.
