Popular as ECAir, the airline was international airline of Republic of the Congo centered at Brazzaville. The airline used to cater various destinations including France, UAE, Benin and many more.
The airline flights operations of Equatorial Congo Airlines started on 24 September 2011. ECAir was established using the Government's assistance to function like a locomotive for the airlines field in the region's modernization. Technological assistance for ECAir and crew support teams were supplied by Geneva-centered VIP company provider PrivatAir. As airlines with preservation services in the Republic of the Congo, ECAir avoids being contained in the listing of airline carriers barred within the European Union. New air international flight routes to United States and China were expected to start.
The airline ceased to operate all the flight services in October, 2016 due to unpaid debts.
