The airline launched the first aircraft, an Embraer EMB-110 Bandeirante in 1978, and addes the second aircraft a Fokker F28 in 1983. The company works is collaborated with Compagnie Aerienne du Mali of Bamako, and its code shares with that airline on many routes. There are the three main partners of Air Burkina that shares information regarding airlines are: La Compagnie Aérienne du Mali, Kenya Airways and Air Ivoire.
