English gardens, a babbling creek and the sandy beaches of the Long Island Sound are a big part of the appeal of the Tidewater Inn - Bed and Breakfast. The two-story, non-smoking inn has nine individually decorated rooms featuring private baths and premium cable TV. Some rooms are equipped with fireplaces and jetted tubs; all are equipped with Wi-Fi and dial-up access. Guests are treated to late afternoon refreshments, complimentary snacks and soft drinks, as well as a complimentary hot breakfast, featuring items like lemon waffles, French toast and blueberry coffeecake. The inn offers a shaded yard with gardens and a creek. The tidal wetlands of the Long Island Sound are just across the road. On-site parking is complimentary. Please note that front desk hours vary at bed-and-breakfast properties. Guests planning to arrive before or after the 4PM check-in time should contact the inn for special instructions. The inn is a 15-minute walk from East Wharf Beach Park and one mile from Hammonasset Beach State Park and the village green.
